Shawwal is the tenth month of the twelve lunar months .
The lunar months depend on the calculation by the moon, during all its stages and life cycle, where the month is 29 days or 30 days .
The naked eye is a way to determine the beginning and end of the months . There are some islamic countries that witnessed the birth of the crescent month of Shawwal after 29 days of Ramadan, and there are Muslim countries that could not watch it, therefore, the month of Ramadan will be 30 days, and then the month of Shawwal will come .

Giving money to children on Eid al-Fitr is a good custom, it creates joy and competition among them for who will get the largest amount of money . Then the children buy the toys they want or go to the city of games and children's clubs .
Cleaning Houses
All housewives clean the houses before Eid al-Fitr, and during the holy month of Ramadan, where the houses are cleaned and polished, this is in anticipation of receiving Eid Al-Fitr and to receive guests in the best way .

And the blessed Eid al-Adha is following the example of the Prophet of God Abraham, peace be upon him, when God commanded him to slaughter his son the Prophet, peace be upon him and his father .
Ibrahim passed the test, and when he wanted to slaughter his son, peace be upon them, God sent to him a great sacrifice from Paradise, as a reward for his patience .
The story of the two prophets, peace be upon them, is found in the Holy Qur’an .
We Muslims (mostly concentrated in the Middle East and North Africa) follow the religious custom of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, when he sacrificed, following the Prophet Abraham, peace be upon him.
What is the difference between Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha ?
Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha differ in timing . Because Eid al-Fitr is after the month of Ramadan, and Eid al-Adha is after standing on Mount Arafat in Makkah Al-Mukarramah .
